The app
Your clipboard history stays in an encrypted SQLCipher database on your Mac. ClipLedger has no analytics, telemetry, advertising, or third-party crash reporting. It never sends clipboard contents to ClipLedger or Binadit servers.
Optional iCloud sync
When you enable sync, entries go to your private CloudKit database. Every payload is encrypted on your Mac with a key only your devices have before Apple receives it. Categories excluded by your privacy rules never enter CloudKit.
This website
clipledger.app is a static website. It places no cookies, performs no tracking, and loads no analytics. Ordinary server access logs may temporarily contain technical request information needed to operate and secure the web server.
If you use the motion switch in the footer, that single choice is stored in your browser's local storage under clipledger-motion. It never leaves your device, it is not read by anything else, and clearing your site data removes it.
