ClipLedger is free and stays free. A voluntary contribution is a thank you, and a supporter code only turns off the contribution reminder in the direct download.

Nothing on this page is a purchase, and nothing here is required to keep using the app.

What a contribution does and does not do

It never unlocks a feature

Every feature ships to everyone. Search, encrypted sync, retention rules, transforms, and the privacy rules are the same whether you contribute or not.

It turns off one reminder

The direct download may show a contribution reminder after 30 days, and then at most once every 30 days. A valid supporter code turns that reminder off and changes nothing else.

The App Store build has none of it

The Mac App Store version contains no external contribution flow and no supporter code field. There is nothing to turn off there.

Before you send

  • Check the network and the complete address in your wallet. A transfer on the wrong network can be lost.
  • Cryptocurrency transactions cannot be reversed. Send only what you are comfortable sending.
  • ClipLedger never asks for a private key, a seed phrase, or a wallet password. Nobody from ClipLedger will ever ask you for one.
  • Never send secret information by email. Only the public transaction ID, the network, and the name for the code are needed.

Supporter code

How a code is issued.

Codes are issued by hand, one transaction at a time. There is no automated shop and no fixed turnaround.

    Contribute what you want

    Send any amount to one of the addresses below. There is no suggested amount, no tier, and no minimum.

  2. 02

    Send the public details

    Email the public transaction ID, the network you used, and the name you want the code registered to, to support@clipledger.app.

  3. 03

    The transaction is checked by hand

    Each transaction is confirmed in an independent block explorer before a code is issued, and a transaction is never used twice.

  4. 04

    You receive a personal code

    The code arrives by email. Open the ClipLedger menu, choose Register Supporter Code, and paste it in. The registration follows your Macs through iCloud Keychain.
